The ranking above (Pt.) is FIBA official, although the following remarks are my own personal guessing about how they were calculated based on the individual points assigned to each federation's clubs:

 

—: No berth assigned to a country (no computable for the final ranking coefficient).

 

#: Berth assigned to a country but not used due to withdrawal, ban, opting out or any other reason (computable for the final ranking coefficient).

 

*: Additional berth earned by a federation due to extra-classification criteria.

 

B: Berths originally assigned to a federation by previous ranking.

 

Note: Whenever a country is in a situation of “#”, it receives a penalty over its total points, which applies as follows: the points earned by all the country’s clubs are divided by the number of non participating/withdrawing teams, and the result (rounded in millesimals) is then substracted from the total points to determine the ranking after penalty. For example:

ISRAEL:     144 pt. (C1) + 6 pt. (C1) + 6 pt. (C2) + 8 pt. (C3) + 0 pt. (C3:with) + 0 pt. (C3:with) + 0 pt. (C3:with) = 164 pt.

   penalty = 164 / 3 = 54.667 pt.

                   final points = 164 - 54.667 = 109.333 pt.
